Why do Muay Thai and MMA fighters overrate elbows while thinking punching is useless?
Alot MT fighters and MMA fans think that punching is useless and elbows beat it all the way.But I have been in numerous fight, and I can tell you punching is more effective in street fight situations than elbowing(especially in narrow allows!Besides, even though elbows could cut, punches are 3X faster!Elbow strikes would be useless if you can’t hit an opponent who keeps punching you fast and hard before you can land an elbow!I fought MT fighters in close range and as soon as they attempt to elbow me I knock them out easily using uppercuts or hooks!Besides, manuy of the MMA champions rely heavily on punches more than elbows to beat opponents in stand up fighting such as Randy Couture and Chuck Liddel! If MMA champions have shown punching to more effective, how come MMA fans think punching is useless and elbowing is the only striking you need to know? How come MT fighters think punching is useless well in fact punches are much faster than elbow strikes?
only a small percent of fighters and fans think that way do not worry punching always going to be as effective as some elbows real Muay Thai and MMA fighters know to not overrate any striking techniques they just fight to win with their best technique of choice and is not elbows mostly is puches, chokes and kicks.
