Sorry I have asked this before, but I cannot get many good answers. I am starting high school in the fall, and being sort of known for fashion, I want to look good, in a hs way. Help? I just went shopping today, and got J. Crew Bermuda shorts, a VS Pink navy blue blazer, a VS Pink hoodie that says harvard in gold letters on the back, a striped polo from abercrombie, and a Juicy Couture school set. Do these sound good?
I am also going to get a new juicy sweat suit, and a white polo. What else do I need? I have a good wardrobe, with all of the essentials, but can anybody make a list of things to buy before I go back to school? Clothes, accessories, etc. Also, make me outfits on polyvore, or send links of cute clothes for the first few days. I am preppy, and girly, sooo…..thanks!!!!!!
High school is a place to find yourself, not show up and know who you are. You don’t have to have a clear outline of what you want to be or wear or even have many goals. High school is for you to branch out and find your goals and help you acheive them.
Regarding style, I’d say you are already not short of a strong back account, which can be helpful, but is not necessary at all. You also need style and originality to stand out at high school. Everybody wears polos, tees and jeans. Not everybody wears dresses, skirts, cute (not slutty) heels and good jewelry and handbags. You don’t need any one thing or even a certain wardrobe to get noticed as a good person, it takes a good personality and a good smile and a genuine heart to climb the ranks, honestly.
I suggest investing in some mroe basics so you can build off of them as you grow and change in high school. Plain colored, but bright, tees, good layering tanks, a solid quality bag and some good nice shoes would help.
