Tips on washing a bag/purse/pocketbook?
okay my bag got dirty and idk how to wash it. its terry cloth/ (faux?) leather with a big metal charm on it. It’s Juicy Couture so i dont want to screw it up >.<
i dont think i should put it in the washing machine...

I’m not sure what the fabric is from your description so it’s hard to give you a good answer – is it a combination of terry cloth and faux leather or do you think the faux leather is a fabric?
The washing machine will be too rough on the purse unless you have a front load washer with a hand wash cycle, and even then I’d be concerned. You could tie the bag up into a pillow case and that might protect it’s delicate parts from the roughness of the machine.
You could try auto upholstery cleaner and a white cloth.
I’ve always washed baseball caps, etc., in the dishwasher but I’ve never washed a purse in there so I don’t know if that would work.
You need to watch out for the metal parts – but I wonder if you could remove the charm and later put it back on? If you do this, twist the metal circle open rather than pull it apart. Later, twist the circle back into place and you’ll never be able to tell you did that.
Would Juicy C have anything on their web site that might help or would they just want you to buy a new purse?
