What do you keep in your backpack?
I’m going into 8th grade-this is what I keep in my backpack, it’s a Jansport (with 5 pockets, 2 big, 3 small)
1st pocket-bigbest
2 inch Juicy Couture binder (navy blue)
Lunch box
Pencil case (with colored pencils, markers, scissors, erasers, etc)
2nd pocket-other biggest
2, 1 inch view binders (pink) for math and language arts
Geometry book
TI 84 Texas Instruments graphing calculator (pink)
Spiral Writing notebook
silent reading book and lit groups book
Smaller pocket-
Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar lotion, hand sanitizer, perfume
3 packs of gum
lip gloss
breath mints
Colgate wisp (toothbrush thingy)
some money for vending machines/after school activities
water bottle
I keep my phone in one of the smaller pockets, not in my pocket anymore because I got in trouble for having it in my pocket (they took my phone for 2 days!)

Last year, when i was in 8th grade, i didn’t use a backpack. I used a Vera Bradley bag to keep my notebooks, binders, school macbook, etc. in. I think it’s a good way because you shouldn’t be bringing a ton of stuff. But maybe part of the reason i didn’t use a backpack was because i only had 4 classes a day so less stuff to bring.
You also don’t want to bring your textbooks to school unless told. They make your bag a lot heavier than it should be.
Other than that it sounds good!
This year i’m going into high school. I think i’ll continue on with my Vera Bradley bag and have a notebook/binder for each core subject. Then the usual like pencils, glue, pens, etc. And my school macbook.
