how can i clean a beige leather bag?

it got stained by my jeans rubbing against the purse when i walked. how can i clean it? thanks in advanced 
Try using toothpaste on a wet rag. Any toothpaste works, as long as it’s the typical white toothpaste. The gels don’t work. Scrub gently with the toothpaste. Then wipe clean with a different wet rag.
If that doesn’t do it, try Krud Kutter Graffiti Remover. It removed permanent magic marker from porous plastic for me…the marker just wiped right off like melted butter, so the jean dye will be a piece of cake.
What did not work for me: Hair Spray, Rubbing Alcohol, Nail Polish Remover, Hand Sanitizer, and even WD-40. But the Krud Kutter did work.
Spray Krud Kutter onto a clean rag and just wipe the dye right off.
You can buy Krud Kutter Graffiti Remover at Target, Home Depot, and most hardware stores. You can also buy it over the Internet:

And whatever you do, don’t use a Magic Eraser. It will tear the leather apart.
