Why is Couture so much smaller than when he fought Sylvia and Gonzaga?
i always thought that the couture that fought gonzaga wouldve beaten brock lesner what do you think?

Couture weighed in at 222.5 vs. Sylvia, 228.5 vs. Gonzaga, and 220 vs. Lesnar and Nogueira. He really wasn’t that much bigger against those other two. But he was a better wrestler than they were. While Lesnar probably doesn’t equal Couture in technical skill, his size multiplies the skill that he does have, and he’s much more familiar with the wrestling “game” than Sylvia and Gonzaga. Plus, Couture took a year and a half off between fights, which didn’t help him much, and Lesnar, for as green as he is, hits like a truck. Couture’s always had trouble against bigger wrestlers (Barnett, Rizzo), even guys that weren’t as skilled or as physically dominant as Lesnar. While I don’t think Randy looked bad in that fight, and could stand a decent chance to beat him, I don’t think size was the issue.
