The current UFC Hall of Fame has eight members:
1. Royce Gracie, a pioneer of the early UFC events. Gracie put Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu on the map in the United States with his amazing victory at UFC 1.
2. The World’s Most Dangerous Man — Ken Shamrock, another pioneer and Royce’s rival for the early UFCs. Shamrock is known as one of the most successful early UFC fighters.
3. The Beast — Dan Severn, a two-time tournament winner and first (and last) superfight champion. Severn was the first world-class wrestler to dominate the UFC.
4. The Natural — Randy Couture, a former heavyweight and light heavyweight champion. Couture is one of only two UFC Champions to hold belts in two weight classes.
The Hammer — Mark Coleman, a two-time tournament winner and first heavyweight champion. Coleman, the first UFC Heavyweight Champion, is the “Godfather of Ground & Pound.”
The Iceman — Chuck Liddell, a former light heavyweight champion and arguably the most dominant light heavyweight of all time. Liddell has one of the longest running title reigns in UFC history.
Matt Hughes, a former welterweight champion and one of the best welterweights of all time. Hughes is one of the most dominant Welterweights in the UFC.
Mask — Charles Lewis Jr., the founder of the TapouT clothing line. As one of the three founders of Tapout, Mask was known as one of the biggest supporters and fans of MMA.

Brief Introduction to UFC:
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is a U.S.-based mixed martial arts (MMA) organization. Dana White serves as the president of the UFC; Zuffa, LLC, controlled by the casino-moguls Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta, owns it .
Inspired by Brazilian vale tudo, the UFC began in Denver, Colorado in 1993 as a single-event tournament designed to find the world’s best fighters, regardless of their fighting style (whether boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, karate, Brazilian jiu jitsu or other disciplines). Although they did prescribe a limited number of rules, promoters marketed fighting in the UFC as no holds barred, and contests were often violent and brutal, leading critics like Senator John McCain to dub the sport “human cockfighting.” Political pressures eventually led the UFC into the underground as pay-per-view providers nixed UFC programming, nearly extinguishing its public visibility.
As political pressure mounted, the UFC reformed itself, slowly embracing stricter rules, becoming sanctioned by State Athletic Commissions, and marketing itself as a legitimate sporting event. Dropping the no holds barred label and carrying the banner of mixed martial arts, the UFC has emerged from its political isolation to regain its position in pay-per-view television.
With a cable-television deal and expansion into Canada, Europe and new markets within the United States, the UFC as of 2009 has gained in popularity, along with greater mainstream-media coverage. As of 2009 viewers can access UFC programming on Spike in the United States and Canada, on ESPN in the United Kingdom as well as in 33 other countries worldwide.
